Mission Statement

The Ono Volunteer Fire Company's primary mission is to protect lives and property of the citizens of East Hanover Township, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania from the affects of fire, accidents and man-made and natural disasters.  In doing this, the company must provide quality firefighting and rescue equipment, trained and knowledgeable firefighters and fire officers.  The Ono Volunteer Fire Company will continuously strive to learn new techniques and when possible employ these techniques to improve the quality of life for the citizens of East Hanover Township.  The safety of the Ono Volunteer Fire Company members must always remain prevalent.

The secondary mission of the Ono Volunteer Fire Company is to achieve a financial status that will allow the company to afford the purchase of new firefighting equipment, train firefighters and provide facilities to house firefighting equipment.  It is equally important that the Fire Company be involved in the education of the public in the area of fire prevention.  Since it is not possible for one company to provide all necessary resources to protect all of its assets, it is important that the Ono Volunteer Fire Company work closely with neighboring fire companies to maintain a total safety package for the citizens of East Hanover Township.
