| The
Ono Volunteer Fire Company provides fire protection to
East Hanover Township, Lebanon County, PA. We
currently have 28 active personnel who voluntarily staff
a Pumer/Tanker, Ladder Truck, QRS, and a
Utility vehicle. We operate out of one fire
station located on Jonestown Rd. in Ono, PA and cover
approximately 35 square miles. There are about
3,000 residents living in the township, We also
provide emergency response to two major highways,
US Rt. 22 and Interstate 81. There are roughly
30,000 vehicles traveling through our township
daily. We respond to about 270 emergencies annually. |
